Sock break

I needed a break from beanies and rabbits. Instead I’ve done some sock knitting.

First I finished the socks I’ve been knitting with the handspun yarns from Monika.
I LOVE THEM!

Then I made my first ever kneehigh. Yarn used is a shaded “Sandnes mini palett”,
which I bought in Skagen, Denmark the other day. To be the first one I made, I’m quite
happy with it. What I don’t like is that the leg is a bit too short, and that the grey colours meet
twice. I wanted the colours more clear from each other – the foot is lovely.
Fortunately I have yarn enough to make two more socks.
But first more beanies.

  2. Cool stripes. Love the pink and black ones. Knee socks, as we call them here.

Yes, I'm still thinking maybe a LINEN white, not stark white. But, the grey is not out completely yet. We shall see.

Off to have another look at that candy being made, very cool indeed.

  5. Jättefina x 2! De blir perfekta när höstvindarna börjar vina (obs; det får gärna dröja länge tills dess!).
    Ha en fortsatt fin sommar!
