Now is really time to realize that it is not late summer, but actually autumn.
I am taking long walks in the forest every other day.
Some days just walking, some days looking for delicious mushrooms.

The yummy ones are hiding among the fallen brown leaves.
Can you see them?

Trattkantarell – Cantharellus tubaeformis – trumpet chanterelle.

If you are lucky you can still find some yellow chantarelles around,
but they normally grow from july to september.

This one is totally overgrown, but otherwise a good mushroom to eat, although with
a very spicy taste – either you love it or hate it. I tried, no like.

Nice colours. If it is a nice mushroom, I don’t know.

Inspired by the autumn mushrooms colours I made this yarn.
Single thread handspun shawl yarn from handdyed bfl wool, soft and shiny.
Now hanging outside to dry in the sunshine.
On Etsy when dried and winded – or give me a note to grab it.

Beautiful! I love the colors in your yarn. Mushroom inspiration was a great idea!
SvaraRaderaWow, those mushrooms look delicious! We only have boring edible ones here. That colour of the yarn is very beautiful - just like mushrooms!
SvaraRaderaJa det mange forskjellige sopparter ute i skog og mark nå. Nydelig garn. Ha en fin kveld
